Fluid Earring Pair By Nye
Badlands: a collection of jewels inspired by the work of Ansell Adams in New Mexico and Yosemite National Park. Adams’ photographs depict a wild landscape; full of life and movement. Inspired by the visceral state of nature captured in Adam’s ‘performances’, designer Nye De Marchi creates wearable sculptures that draw on the forms of the mountain facades and the movements of rolling clouds and flowing water. Badlands absorbs this natural electricity; presenting pieces that, whilst static, capture in precious metal a stirring landscape in flux.
By Nye is a contemporary Australian Jewellery label creating hand-made luxury pieces for the modern woman. Jewellery designer, Nye De Marchi draws on her visual arts background and love of natural landscapes to design pieces that are both conceptual and timeless. All materials are locally and sustainably sourced; forged through the craft of silversmithing and lost wax casting, each piece is one of a kind, as is the woman who wears it.
