Describe what you do for a living? What does a typical day look like for you?

I'm the Editor of Remix Magazine, so a typical day at work might involve interviewing someone for a feature, directing a fashion shoot, or just trying to catch up on the trillions of emails.

How did you get to where you are today?

Experience! I started interning at magazines while I was 19. I just tried to make myself invaluable, and I finally landed a full-time role at Creme Magazine as Deputy Editor. Over the last eight years I've bounced in and out of the publishing world in various roles, but I always come back to it. You just can't beat the satisfaction of holding a glossy mag that you and your team put their all into.

What was some advice you wish you were given when starting out?

Don't take criticism from someone you'd never go to for advice.

What’s your favourite Brie Leon piece and why?

I love so many Brie Leon shapes but the Mini Chloe is my '90s nostalgia dream. Just the right size for my phone, a lippy, hand sanitiser and a snack... haha.

How do you approach your personal style?

I'm a bit of a chic witch. There's a lot of black in my wardrobe but I also love white and a pop of colour every now and then. I guess I have a bit of a 'no rules' rule with my style. Sticking to one aesthetic is so limiting - if I love something and I am 90% sure I can pull it off, I'll wear it.

What are you reading, listening to and watching at the moment?

I just finished watching The Morning Show which was so good. I loved seeing Jennifer Aniston play a complex character and the story had a pretty powerful message. At the moment I'm listening to Abhi The Nomad, 7AM and Hippie Sabotage on repeat. My taste in music is so unpredictable... it's rap one week, soul the next.

What’s something exciting that’s coming up in the next couple of months?

Well, we've just moved into our new house which was built in the mid-century era. So we're doing it up '70s Palm Springs vibes, which is my interior design dream. I can't wait to celebrate summer with friends at home!

Thank you Amber! @remixmagazine
